Well, this time I have answers. Not the answers I was looking for, but at least now I know.

This last week, I was informed that the job I was hoping for, has fallen through. What does that mean? Basically, they are not going to hire me. My kind of work can be confusing and tedious to get hired.

Needless to say, I am very disappointed. I was mad at first, and now I’m just sad. I know I’ll get over it, and move on, but it’s still hard.

What does this mean for us moving to Oregon? Well, we can’t move up there without a job. So we’re here for now. We’re not sure what to do right now. We may still persue the move, with another job opportunity, or we may just find rest in the Lord and stay.

What I do know is that I’m taking this time to reassess my goals and dreams. I have always been a dreamer with a creative look at what’s before me. I don’t know what the next 12 months will look like, I’m just glad that my Lord does know.

Hello all. Many of you have recently emailed me, asking for an update about our intended move to Oregon. I thought I would give you all an update. Here is what I have to say…

Nothing.

That’s it, nothing. There is nothing to update. I am still waiting for the new department to finish with my hiring packet. From what I understand, it has been completed and has been sent up the chain of command for approval. Since we all know how efficient all government operations can be, I’m sure I’ll get word around the holidays (sarcasm).
