I was wondering if you might want to turn the December Challenge into a book for charity. I’m a member of FuelMyBlog and we just put together a book called The Human Behind the Avatar. We created this through Blurb, a site that works well with Flickr. Maybe after December is over you could ask each participant to choose their 5-8 best photos, write up a bit about themselves and their styles and maybe a 2-3 sentence blurb about each image, include the EXIF data if possible. Then compile it into a book. It would be really interesting to have the 5-8 best from each person plus a mini bio to look at and share with friends and family. Maybe you could also run a little poll as to what charity to donate to. I’d buy one.
I agree with Drew, the lighting is great and the image is just wonderful. I particularly like the background/shirt combo using different shades of black and how it draws attention to the subject. The square crop works well here too.
