Rosie’s gone! Canned Or Coward?

25 May, 2007 (12:39) | Breaking News, Internet, current events, news, opinion, quicky, rosie, tv | By: trevor

I’m sure ya’ll know about Rosie and her pansy attack on Elisabeth Hasselbeck, so I won’t go into it here. However, ABC announced that Rosie won’t be back on The View. Either they canned her, as they should have a long time ago. Or…

Rosie is the coward she accused Hasselbeck of being.

I shot over to Rosie’s blog looking to comment and I noticed that she has comments turned off. I don’t know if the two are connected, but it sure is interesting. So, comments will be turned ON here Rosie, if you’re not too cowardly to join the conversation.

I think she quit because the Jericho show is going to hire her for ratings.

Did you find her blog hard to read? I do not understand most of her posts.
There are those who are saying the whole thing was staged.

I believe that Rosie was so used to being loud and having the last word
that when Elizabeth stood her ground and would not back down, Rosie quit.
Typical of those who cannot win an argument, but think if they shout and are
overly assertive they are the ones in the right. I would not call her a coward
outright, but she clearly lost that argument.

I think it was pretty clear Rosie was calling our troops terrorists:

ODONNELL: I just want to say something. 655,000 Iraqi civilians are
dead. Who are the terrorists?
HASSELBECK: Who are the terrorists?
ODONNELL: 655,000 Iraqis I am saying you have to look, we invaded
HASSELBECK: Wait, who are you calling terrorists now? Americans?
ODONNELL: Im saying if you were in Iraq, and the other country, the United
States, the richest in the world, invaded your country and killed 655,000 of
your citizens, what would you call us?

Here, here! I agree Heather.

Your analysis of her being used to winning with her volume, intensity, and aggressiveness is accurate.

She’s the school-yard bully who doesn’t know what to do when someone finally stands up to her.

Trump is one thing, he’s “over there”, not trading blows via the press. Hasselbeck was sitting across from her.

Thanks for the comment.
